NANA- A DOCUMENTARY
Filmmaker and NYU Tisch graduate Serena Dykman, is currently filming Nana, a feature documentary about her grandmother surviving Auschwitz. Nana is Dykman’s 5th film and she seeks to continue capturing different people and cultures via photography and videography as she travels around the world. In addition, Serena recently concluded post production for her latest short film entitled Welcome, which recently won the Chris Columbus Production Award and is set to premiere at the Cleveland International Film Festival (Oscar-qualifying) on March 19th, 2015. In Welcome, a New York based Czech doctor is held up at U.S. Immigration after a humanitarian trip to Uganda.
