11892354_530468830443248_1824572771928351114_oIn 2008, Aimee Beck’s four year old daughter began experiencing extreme stomach aches. The pediatrician gave a prescription for an acid reducer without any testing, a mere hypothesis. The tummy aches began to diminish, but with one positive effect brought several side effects including severe diarrhea, a full body rash, and extreme unquenchable thirst. Amongst the turmoil a friend gifted Aimee with two essential oil samples; peppermint and lemon.  Although skeptical that they would aid her child at first, she accepted the gift graciously and was surprised that simply applying them directly to her stomach relieved her pain. Soon her stomach aches were gone!

“It would take me only a couple more ah-ha moments to become a believer.  But my belief came quickly” . – Aimee Beck

Oilicious is a family of Essential Oil Consumers and small business entrepreneurs that value health and wellness. This community strives to help those around them achieve their health and wellness goals no matter how large or small. Health and wellness leaders in the group like Aimee specialize in teaching family, friends, neighbors and customers about essential oils, their many benefits, the variety of ways to use them and how to incorporate them into their daily lives.

“The essential oils help my customers to save time, energy, and money, while also saving our environment“. – Aimee Beck

Nectar News sat down with Aimee Beck to hear more about her history with health, wellness and the essential oils. Aimee is a former High School FACS (Family and Consumer Science) Teacher, and a Home Economist in St George, UT.

NN: How did you use the essential oils in your classroom?

AB: I’ve taught high School for twelve years, and eleven different subjects. I am currently working from home, and am able to hang out with my four year old (last child).  My favorite subjects to teach include Culinary Arts and Nutrition and Fitness. In my classes, I taught my students how to cook with herbs and spices, which give amazing flavor (reducing the fat, sugar, salt, additives, and preservatives) and add therapeutic qualities. Now I teach others to cook with herbs and spices in liquid form (essential oils) and how to take control of their health and wellness.  I am also a Zumba Instructor. I take citrus essential oils with me to my classes.  One to two drops in a water bottle is so refreshing.  It makes me want to drink more water.

0228a57c0c17f150503f250ceebbcb13NN: What’s the most enjoyable part of your work will the essential oils?

AB: I love teaching my family, friends, and team members how to use essential oils (EO’s). Researching how to use oils for natural solutions to help with simple to complex health trials is really intriguing and I am learning daily how to use EO’s in new, innovative, and creative ways.  If you find a new way to use essential oils, please share with us, and we will do the same. Big thing is, I do not SELL Essential Oils.  I SHARE our oils with those that desire to try a healthier alternative, with no side effects.  I believe  essential oils are “gifts of the earth.”  I also believe  essential oils are gifts from God. He has shared them with us, to make our lives a bit easier. He gave them to me, and therefore I share them with everyone!
