EVEN STEVENS SANDWICHES

story-logo-21

Steve Down, Founder of the Utah based chain restaurant Even Stevens Sandwiches, used his skills as an entrepreneur to turn the food service industry into a force for social good. Even Stevens Sandwiches has four different Utah based locations, the first of which was established in downtown Salt Lake City on June 24th, 2014. Other locations include Sugar House, Draper and the recently established St George, UT.

Nectar News sat down with, the manager of St George’s newly established Even Stevens Sandwiches to talk about the recent opening and response from community members?

NN: Was the social good aspect of Even Stevens Sandwiches appealing to you when you applied? Why did you choose this establishment over so many of the other local eateries?

NN: Even Stevens has a wonderful decor and a delicious menu. How has the community responded to your unique business model that brings together dining and social good?

ES:

NN: How does Even Stevens give back to the community? Is it a monetary donation or is food donated to local non-profits?

ES:

NN: What non-profits do you currently partner with?

ES:

Nectar News also reached out to Switch Point to learn more about the non-profit’s partnership with the restaurant.

NN: Switch Point was also recently established here in St George, correct? How did you begin this partnership with Even Stevens and how does the community here at Switch Point benefit?

JD:

NN: How do you hope to grow in your partnership with Even Stevens over the next five years?

JD:
