RABID YOUNG
Rabid Young is a synth-driven, electro rock band based in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada. The music is electro rock, packed with dance-y, straightforward beats and loaded with synths, guitars and various sonic textures. Featuring Eric Rickey (Lead Vocals, Keys, Guitar), Jackson Wilcox (Bass, Vocals), Bobby Lee Parker (Guitar) and Matthew Long (Drums), Rabid Young, originally started by Rickey, serves as a new musical outlet from his other bands. After establishment of Rabid Young, Rickey was soon joined by Wilcox (A Crowd of Small Adventures) to help pen the rest of the songs that comprise the debut EP. With Long (Roky Erickson) traveling across the country to help complete the songwriting and lay down the beats, the sound would be finally rounded out by Bobby Lee Parker (Most Thieves) recording guitars and general “sonic awesome”.
