BEATS FOR BYRON
Kalamity is a service dance company based in St George, UT that dances for a cause not for applause. The company raises funds for families that are going through real life calamities by hosting benefit concerts and shows throughout southern Utah. This fall, Kalamity announced a new cause, Beat For Byron that will benefit 1 year old Byron Turner. Byron Turner was born on August 28th, 2014 with Hypo-Plastic Left Heart Syndrome. The left side of Byron’s heart was was not developed at birth. Byron has survived two open heart surgeries and has been admitted and released from the hospital several times within his first year of living. Before he turns three years old, Byron is scheduled to have at least one more open heart surgery and he will soon be put on a heart transplant list.
On December 11th & 12th, the Kaos, Kalamity & The Vault will be hosting the cause’s first show entitled Beats for Byron.
