Grassroots Consulting Incorporated (GCI) is a consulting firm that provides training classes, workshops, technical assistance and other business development services that prepare individuals and organizations to become strong players in their industry.
Founder of GCI Shandra Stringer was forced to retire at the age of 32 due to physical limitations brought on by systematic lupus, and has since turned her attention and energy to helping the less fortunate. In addition to GCI, Shandra currently serves as the head coordinator of the upcoming Total Women’s Empowerment Summit and works daily with The Urban Institute of Excellence in Certifications & The Total Woman Empowerment Group.
Shandra was the 2005 recipient of the Volunteer Sector Award for Executive Women of Palm Beach County and a finalist for the 2004 Dwight Allison Fellows Award through the Community Foundation of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. Stringer received her Associate’s degree in Business Management, a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and a Master’s Degree in Non-Profit Management from the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
