M.O.V.E. FOR AUTISM
On Saturday September 26th, Megan Jane Dance Tours will partner with Javanna Productions’ M.O.V.E. For Autism, to host a movement and music class for children with Autism. Megan Jane Dance Tours is an Australian based performer development program established by Megan Jane Del Santo in 2012. Megan Jane Del Santo is a professional Australian born performer who travels frequently to the US with her touring company for training and performance opportunities.
The Megan Jane Dance Tour (MJDT) is an extension program for talented, passionate, young performers and offers Australian dancers the opportunity to travel to New York City to train amongst some of the worlds finest and most elite performers. While studying with MJDT, students are required to develop individual performer objectives and will thereby develop the work ethic and resilience required to be a professional performer.
While studying in New York, the MJDT dancers will serve as teachers in M.O.V.E. For Autism’s movement and music class. The movement and music class is designed to provide Autistic children with an exciting afternoon of stimulating music and storytelling through movement. Join MJDT dancers and M.O.V.E. For Autism on September 26th from 1:00-2:00 PM. Learn more about the event by e-mailing Javanna Productions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
