Carlos and Leila Peraza are the proud owners of Space Montrose, a Houston Texas based storefront on Westheimer Road that offers customers handcrafted items made in the United States. In Montrose, a neighborhood and cultural hub that is often called “The Heart of Houston”, Carlos and Leila have created a platform for artists to share their innovative concepts and are known for providing customers with a unique shopping experience.
Since inception in 2011, Space Montrose has featured original art work and prints from artists nation-wide. Carlos and Leila set out to find cool accessories that are made to inspire and they are proud to represent some of the best plush artists in the USA. “Our store is shaped by the talent we feature. If you are an Artist or Crafter that makes your work in the USA we want to here from you” .
The store offers a selection of handcrafted jewelry, unique t-shirt designs, one of a kind items for babies, plush items, accessories and quality home decor. The shop currently features work by Tim Doyle, Justin Anville, Tracy Carlson, Graham Franciose, Leroy’s Place, Lisa Chow, MME Studios, Scott Dupree, Hillary Williams, Russ Moore, Jon Smith, Jillian Nickell, Fuzzy Grapefruit and Bespoken Art.
